“What is a doula?”

A doula is a non-medical professional trained to give support during pregnancy, childbirth and in the period shortly after giving birth, to help you achieve a positive birth experience. This support isn’t limited to just you, who is pregnant, but can extend to your partner so that they can focus on being there for you.

We do this by providing physical, emotional, and informational support and we advocate for you to have the right to make informed decisions about your body and baby. While your doula does not speak to the medical staff on behalf of you, we provide a platform for your wishes to be heard.

“Emotional, physical, and informational support for a birth experience that’s truly yours.”

“We don’t replace your partner — we help both of you show up with love and confidence.”
